01. Improved Teeth Whitening efficacy

Study Outline

• Extrinsically stained extracted human teeth model used
• Surface covered with drop of artificial saliva then whitening strip applied
• A drop of artificial saliva placed onto the back of whitening strip every five minutes in order to maintain hydration
• After 30 minutes had elapsed, the samples were rinsed with deionised water and gently wiped with a tissue to remove any whitening strip residue
• The samples were then immersed in artificial saliva to ensure each sample remained fully hydrated
• Products texted for 14 treatments with colour change measured after 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 14 applications using Konica Minolta Spectrophotomer which was calibrated against a Vita R-20 Shade Guide.

02. Improvement of Teeth Shade

Study Outline

• Approximately 50 consumers per arm of study
• Consumers given a full course treatment (14 days) of one of:
• 10% HP + [P]3 technology + HA
• 12% HP + [P]3 technology + HA
• Leading non-dissolving Whitestrips
• One strip per day
• Whitening self-assessed at time-points of 1, 3, 6, 7, 10, and 14 days using a Superbright shade guide
• Additional questions around tooth sensitivity, ease of use, taste during study or at end of the study
• Consumer study in approx. n=50 patients per arm
• Shade change self-assessed using Superbright shade guide

03. Reduced Sensitivity
